Drilling

They're Coming to Get Me!

There I was, trapped in a sand bed for 376 million years
when suddenly I heard it!  The sound of a drill bit
coming to rescue me.

Boy, when that drill bit poked through the shale above me, was I excited.  And they provided me with a nice steel casing, and even a pump which acts like an elevator to lift me to the surface.  Sometimes, it was hard to get all the sand off me, but they persisted.  And when I got to the surface - wow!  Bright lights, big cities - take me to your liters!

Described below is one of the many interactive exhibits at our physical location in Lloydminster.

Fishing for Junk

During drilling and workovers, lots of frustrating and costly things can go wrong

Drilling tools, pumps, tubing, perforating guns ... all can get stuck or break off down hole.  Here, YOU get the chance to recover some lost tools.  Help save money and time by retrieving the tools as quickly as possible.

Instructions:

Lower the magnetic lifter down hole, carefully pick up one of the lost tools.  Raise the lost tool to the surface and swing it clear of the well bore. When the tool is safely up top, YOU will have saved this project from costly loss and further delay.
