Strike at the Lloydminster Refinery
December 6, 1976 until February 23, 1977

Top left: Ace Drummond mans the controls as 23 management personnel operated the refinery during the Lloydminster Refinery strike - the only strike in the history of Husky in Lloydminster.

Above: Ace (far right) and others celebrate Christmas while in the refinery for the duration of the strike.  On the wall is the affectionate name for their quarters - "Juba's Camp" referring to Refinery Manager - Vic Juba.

Bottom left: Ace celebrates his 59th birthday inside the refinery, February 18, 1977.  The strike would end 5 days later.
