Oil Obstacle Course

This is Squirt's Science Project.

"I am very strong. My strength is called "viscosity" which is a measure of how strongly I resist flowing.  Viscosity is measured in "centiStokes".
On this scale, my viscosity at room temperature (20°C) is 11,200
Motor oil, like you use in your car, is at 163.7
And the output of the Upgrader, Husky Synthetic Blend is only 6.62.

I made up this demonstration to show the flow rates of my friends and me.

Instructions:

Tilt the table the opposite way from where it rests now.

Watch closely to see how well we resist flowing down hill.

Watch me win by flowing the most slowly.

Just remember, I'm Heavy Oil.  You can't push me around!

I'm on the Road Again

Once I'm produced, I start travelling.

First, I have a rest in the field storage tank.
Then I'm off by truck to the battery and then - whee! down the pipeline on my way to the refinery and upgrader
